The German Poker Players Association is a renowned association with many members in Germany and other German speaking countries. Their objective is to establish a respectable poker game.

Horst Koch, German Poker Champion 1995, founded the GPPA in 1996 with headquarters in Leinfelden-Echterdingen near Stuttgart Germany. Whether  TV, radio or print, Horst Koch is recognised by the media professionals as a competent poker expert. His TV appearances on “Stern TV”, “Spiegel TV” and various talkshows have generated enormous popularity and promote the fun of poker.

The GPPA is both initiator and organiser of various casino tournaments as well as German and European Poker Championships, e.g. in Casino Baden-Baden, in Austria and in other countries.  But the story does not stop here.
