Dear reader,

The first impression often determines the way an encounter progresses. You get to know each other and talk about your thoughts and dreams. Such might be a good start leading to people following the same interests like sports, gaming and other innovative forms of entertainment.

This is our concern, and we, the German Poker Players Association GPPA are looking for exactly these mutualities. We’d like to share our enthusiasm for the most famous and most popular card game in the world with as many people as possible. This concerns everyone who is just as exalted about the great sport poker as we are, regardless of the usual cliches.

We hope that you feel appealed by what you read here and that you value poker and its environment just as high as we do.

Hopefully, this acquaintance will turn into a friendship and the GPPA wishes to find many more friends in the future.

Beforehand, we'd like to give you the opportunity to learn more about us. Get in contact and ask us whatever you want to know. We are trying to establish a serious poker scene on a high level. Then again, we know that we always need to change for the better. This is why we are interested in you, the enthused hobby players. What would arouse your interest in the GPPA? What would you expect from us, and what sort of event or venture would you like to attend?

We are not pushing anyone. If you are not interested, we respect that. However, a lot of insiders appreciate being delivered with news an information. Don't worry, we are not going to assail you with useless information. On the contrary, you will take active influence in the contents.

The GPPA membership fee is € 77,- per year. The membership fee is used to cover the administration costs as well as expenses for postage and packaging, research etc.
